House Party Menus

West Country Caterers is a well established business specialising in a personal service and concentrating on a high level of home cooked cuisine.

It is a family run business employing a number of efficient and friendly staff who endeavour to assist with all your requirements.

Below are some menu suggestions for your holiday home requirements. We can make your holiday hassle free by supplying a variety of freezer foods, drop off meals or even send a private chef to cook and serve a meal at any evening of your choice. This will allow you to save on babysitters, taxis or driving. Enjoy your holiday in a relaxed style without having to cook!

BREAKFAST MENUS

These can be provided either as a handy larder drop off, where we leave all the uncooked ingredients in the fridge for you to cook whenever you like or we can prepare it and serve it to you on the day. The more ample brunch is great to have a little later in the morning, perhaps after a much needed lie in! All the prices listed below are based on a per head pricing and are for a minimum of 10 guests.

DINNER PARTY MENUS £35.00 per head - minimum of 10 people
(venison, ternderloin of lamb and fillet steak would carry a £5.00 subsidy)

Croustades with quails egg & lumpfish caviar
Basil, mozarella and roasted cherry tomato skewers
Scallops wrapped in prosciutto
Gingered chicken cakes with coriander lime mayonnaise
Grilled beef fillet with salsa Verdi croutes

STARTERS
Seared salmon with avocado salsa
Spinach roulade with cream cheese, dill and smoked salmon with a light dill dressing
Asparagus tart with hollandaise
Cheese souffle (these can have other fillings in such as mushroom, seafood or courgette)
Cherry tomato, basil and goats cheese tart
Chicken liver pate and melba toast
Seared scallops with rocket and balsamic vinegar
All the above served with warm breads & butter

MAIN COURSES
Stuffed chicken breast with asparagus, wrapped in proscuitto ham and served with a wine and Dijon sauce.
Poached breast of chicken stuffed with wild mushrooms and served with a wild mushroom sauce
Tournedo Rossini – Fillet steak served on a croute with liver pate and a madeira sauce
Sea bass with olive oil and fresh herbs served with a creamy risotto rice
Tenderloin of pork stuffed with apricots and served with a creamy Dijon mustard cider sauce
Fillet of venison with a thyme and red wine sauce.
Caramelised red onion filo tart topped with goats cheese
Feta cheese olive and rosemary tart
Wild Mushoom and leek risotto filo parcel
